Regional Sales Manager-Pune


  • Engineering graduate with 8-10 years of Experience in related field
  • Achieve month wise sales targets through effective management of distribution network in the region
  • Control outstanding and keep expenses within authorized limits
  • Work towards a steady growth in market share as per corporate directives
  • Resource person for market intelligence -- keep track of competitors’ activities / market trends
  • Organise customer specific presentation, take part in Expos and provide Techno commercial assistance to customers.
  • Contacts ( internal/external)
  • External -- Dealers / Assemblers, OEMs, Institutions and other Customers
  • Internal -- Apart from extensive interaction with Sales & Marketing Team (H.O.), also with Finance & Accounts, QA, Logistics, FTS and Production departments
  • Other (travel, working conditions, unusual work schedules)
  • Frequent travelling across region throughout the month resulting in unscheduled working hours
  • Skills (manual, self expression, planning, organizing)
  • Technical : Sound knowledge of product range, applications and testing/qualification processes, Technical knowledge and adaptability, Strategic Thinking, Excellent Analytical Skills, Developmental orientation, Proficiency in Computers (MS Office), Handling customers and Commercial Negotiations.
  • Behavioural : Good Communication Skills (both written & oral), self-starting and tenacious, Initiative and speed with effective time and resource management, Interpersonal skills, Swift customer handling –both at senior & junior levels, customer friendly attitude, effective planner, convincing presenter, Team Player, Proactive Approach, quick decision making ability, problem solving approach.
