Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with line research organization to develop and implement strategies to develop compounds.
- Anticipate potential issues, challenges, assumptions, and identify contingency plans or opportunities to circumvent potential delays.
- Coordinate and prepare key functional deliverables including senior management presentations and reports, Product Development Plans, Monthly Project Updates, tracking reports, project timelines, and meeting agendas and minutes on a routine basis.
- Collaborating with line functions, review and confirm integrated cross-functional budgets and resource requirements for development programs.
- Work with and mentor as necessary other Project Managers.
- Participate in departmental initiatives (development documentation template development, development team process development and optimization, IT solution identification and implementation, and identification and sharing of best practices).
- Mentor and develop staff.
Requirements:
- PhD is preferred. An MS/MBA will be considered.
- 7-10 years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 5 years of true project management experience
