Manager – ISC Project Implementation & Operation - Mumbai

A leading logistics and supply chain organisation
CTC-18 Lakhs


Candidate should be Graduate.Minimum 6+ years exp.
Main Purpose of Role

As part of the ISC Global Operations team, responsible for the management, co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the Project Galaxy within ISC.
Role Profile
-       Lead India Sub regional "Business team" in the creation, implementation and roll out of Project Galaxy incorporating the design of new working practices and eliminating unnecessary processes / systems.
-       Assist in the creation and delivery of a new Global ISC operating environment.
-       Become a "Superuser" of new operating system (GTNexus) and disseminate information to all regional staff. Create training manuals and undertake country training on new system / working practices.
-       Liaise with all Indian Sub country teams and in conjunction with Regional Operations undertake travel / visits where appropriate and necessary 
-       Define the necessary procedures, processes and practices to capture customer requirements for delivery within new Galaxy operating system .
-       Project manage Indian Sub regional implementation of Galaxy Project . 
-       Adopt the appropriate project implementation methodology (DePICT) suitable for the specific project and in line with Corporate guidelines  (First Choice)
-       Provide management with reports / update on Galaxy implementation, cost savings gained, status reports, issues lists and performance feedback.

General Skills and Characteristics Associated with this Role
This role will require circa a minimum of 5 years experience in an international logistics environment at an appropriate Management level and have the necessary experience in managing internal customer relations and influencing decision-making where advised. Implementation and Project Management skills are a necessary pre-requisite. In additional, strong organisational skills will be required in tandem with the ability to prioritise long-term projects whilst meeting short-term demands.
Other specific Skills as follows:
- Good relationship with regional operation teams
- Thorough knowledge and experience of field operation for the respective region
- The ability to identify customer requirements through existing documents, such as SOP, and transfer into new operating environment.
- Knowledge of alternative operational procedures (non-ISC) in order to assess and recommend best practice.  
- The ability to communicate with IT groups for customer requirements
- The ability to coordinate Regional operation teams for system training
- The ability to pass system knowledge to local Country operations
- The ability to provide user support to local Country operations
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Be willing to work outside of normal working hours for meeting
- Must locate at respective region
- Prefer to be bilingual (English + local language)
