- Worked in Retail & FMCG Industry
- The job holder will support the Director - Logistics to plan, implement and manage the warehouse infrastructure activities & related cost, 3PL identification and management, provide support in developing the short and medium term cost optimal supply chain design using various optimization models and work on DC Capacity planning based on the business plans
- Evaluation and Setting up of the warehouse infrastructure to support the business
- Vendor management and coordination
- 3PL development and relationship management
- Warehouse resource optimization ( space and assets)
- Support Business Logistics team for any initiatives on process/ efficiency improvement
- Ensuring periodical audits of Warehouses
- Timely publishing of audit Reports
- Circulation of audit report to the Management
- Action plan on audit findings and timely closure of open issues
- Suggesting corrective action on Audit points
- Monitor Logistics cost of each Business
- Develop monthly KPI dashboard covering cost , productivity and service level
- Provide inputs in developing the Logistics budget for each Business
- Instill company's values within the team members
- Set stretch goals for each team member to achieve & exceed best-in-class service levels, and meet our operating cost & targets
- Identify coaching needs for skills and competencies within the teams
- To put in place succession plans for key positions
