Taxation Manager

Position Title: Taxation Manager

Reports to-Senior Manager Taxation

Role Purpose : One or two sentences summarizing why the role exists, the unique contribution it makes to the organisation.

The incumbent will support senior managers in routine compliance of indirect tax provision. This will include service tax, cenvat credit, J&K sales tax and works contract tax.

Key Accountabilities

Indirect Tax:

• Monitoring cenvat credit availability
• Preparing working for monthly payment of service tax and J&K sales tax
• Supporting in preparation of service tax return
• Reviewing expenses to ensure cenvat credit is availed in all scenarios

Common

• Handling customer queries on tax issues concerning service tax
• Co-ordinate with Customer Service on tax issues for customers
• Approve tax related communication for customers / sales
• Additional responsibilities will necessarily be given in the area of compliance or legal depending on qualifications / background
